hosted by our friends at Marine Stewardship Council
Assembly at 9am
We’ll kick off our day with a live assembly hosted by Lizzie Daly, TV wildlife presenter and Kate Jones from Marine Stewardship Council.
Lizzie will introduce the day’s challenge and then Kate will share more about the work her organisation does to protect our ocean.

Today MSC will be helping us learn more about sustainable fishing. We’re going to watch a film called “My dad the fisherman” and then we have a whole bunch of fun activities to dive into – a quiz to test your knowledge on overfishing, a lesson about using the oceans’ resources in a sustainable way and a super fun game that helps us understand how all the different species are connected in the sea.
You can join Greg Holder live to learn all about why we need sharks to protect the biodiversity of the ocean! He’ll teach us what role sharks play in the environment, share some amazing shark facts and help us understand what we can all do to protect them. At the end of the lesson you’ll be able to chat with Greg live and ask all your questions!

There are SO many things to create this afternoon! MSC will kick us off with an awesome competition to see how many different species you can draw/paint/create to add to your Blue Space.
Our friends over at Sharks4Kids are going to show you how to make a Hammerhead shark and Midnight will lead a crafty workshop to make sea creatures from upcycled trash.
